Inspired by the first few chapters of the book "Vampire Academy" this image is set when Lissa bites Rose, Rose being the character telling us the story explains how a vampire bite feels like sex.

"Her fangs bit into me, hard, and I cried out at the brief flare of pain. Then it faded, replaced by a wonderful, golden joy that spread through my body. It was better than any of the times I’d been drunk or high. Better than sex—or so I imagined, since I’d never done it. It was a blanket of pure, refined pleasure, wrapping me up and promising everything would be right in the world. On and on, it went. The chemicals in her saliva triggered an endorphin rush, and I lost track of the world, lost track of who I was."

I drew Rose being naked even though she wasn't in the book, but I wanted to show the feeling of passion rushing through her viens. Also the splattered colours show the endorphins of Lissa mixing with Rose's body, I wanted to show Rose as still being a virgin as she in the book so I placed purple splatter marks mixing with the rush of passion but not being broken.
